Interests:

Working the study of spirituality into the study of science via the unassuming channels of clinical psychology at Duke University where I've convinced the faculty that I'm worth investing in for however long it takes me to get a PhD. I use words like "mindfulness" instead of "meditation" to add a western scientific edge to my eastern spiritual ways and am careful to balance all that yoga with running and weights so as not to incite suspicion. I think it's important to be well spoken and well dressed in this culture that is only as deep as the skin we wear to secure our egos and the insecurities that maintain them. I believe that to make change,
you must meet people on their level; not superficially or condescendingly,
but honestly,
with words that are phrased with the intent of being heard and smiles that are meant to evoke love rather than jealousy. I am deeply in love with everything that breathes and,
as such,
I hope to communicate in ways that are meaningful to others in an effort to access the beautiful ways in which we distort ourselves and make sense out of the chaos that defines us.
